Mike Bernardi is the President and CEO of Bernardi
Consulting Services Inc. The company was founded in
1998 after 18 years of service with the Ontario Ministry
of Labour. During his time with the ministry, Mike worked
in many different capacities that allowed him to develop
a definitive understanding of the safety methodology
that is used on behalf of the province of Ontario to
ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
As a former inspector, area manager, and district
manager, Mike has developed extensive safety awareness
in such areas as:
Pits and quarries
Highways and roads
Residential
Industrial
Construction
Confined Space
Trenching and open face mining
Since forming Bernardi Consulting Services Inc., Mike
has lead an enthusiastic team of safety professionals
that do extensive safety work in a variety of sectors
in Canada and the United States. Mike and his team are
committed to providing clients with the professional
services that are expected to ensure that the health,
safety and welfare of workers everywhere is uncompromised.
Geoff Bernardi Senior Safety Specialist
As a vital part of the team, Geoff Bernardi works along
side senior management in providing a number of health
and safety solutions to our clients. Educated and trained
in the understanding and interpretation of the Occupational
Health and Safety legislation in Ontario, Geoff conducts
regular site audits and inspections of worksites. In
support of his auditing responsibilities, Geoff also
works with companies to develop, implement and maintain
Health & Safety policies to ensure compliance with
relevant legislation. As a competent trainer in both
First Aid – CPR and WHMIS, Geoff also works with
our training division to assist in relevant training
courses.
